His salesmanship was accepted. It's the afterwards service and communication. Had pro lema with the heat that's still going on. Then the porters put gas in the vehicle and forgot to put the gas cap back on. So after star auto having the vehicle for 10 days from 1/9/26 I purchased the vehicle. I took delivery on 1/20 and noticed it wasn't there. Immediately notified my salesman. He stated he'd get back to me, and didn't in the mean while it's now 1/30 and the check engine light is on and been on due to no gas cap. Went back to start auto got a gas cap they installed it reset the light. It being to late due to no gas cap emissions problems occurred. Canister purge valve solenoid. Spoke with Sam at Honda to take it back to star. They cleaned the throttle body n installed a new air filter. Work that had anything to do with the actual problem. Picked the vehicle back up on 2/6 after they had it for a week. Lonnie stated to fill up 3 or 4 tyme with, shell,BPor mobile gas only and the light would reset. After reachin home on the 7th the check engine light was back on again and has been til now. After have a diagnostic done, the same problem exists. Range Rove say the codes that are in the obdll is due to NO gas cap causing fuems and vapors to fill up the canister a d damage the purge valve solenoid. I will be dropping this vehicle back off at Honda a d leaving it until it is properly repaired and corners aren't cut. I understand that I purchased a used vehicle. But due to the negligence of the porters not putting the gas cap back on the vehicle. Is the reason why this situation has occurred. And they Honda should accept liability and responsibility for there worker's actions

Kamaal is one of the best salesman out there. He is very friendly, approachable, engaging, and he is NOT pushy like some salesman can be. He listened to my wants and needs and made every effort to make sure I was satisfied and comfortable with the decisions that I made. He is very knowledgeable of the cars and what he did not know, he made sure to get the answer for me. He even checked up on me afterwards to see how I was enjoying my new car. I loved his approach so much that I have recommended others to him.

Kamaal was a pleasure to work with. He understands how to service a customer rather than attempting to upsell. While Kamaal was outstanding, I was as impressed with other aspects of the service from the Finance Manager towards me. Being a senior citizen, I opted to pay rather than finance my vehicle. When he mentioned a warranty and I needed time to consider, I was quickly cast aside. I returned to pick up the vehicle two days later and was completely ignored by subject manager. I actually planned to discuss the warranty on that day, but I felt disrespected which is unacceptable. I retired from IBM where I was a leader my entire career. Great Customer Service is what generates future business. Sales Reps are not stable and while I would highly recommend Kamaal Davis, the dealership did not meet my expectations. My late brother worked for Homewood Chevy, where he was the Customer Service Manager. The owner Steve invests in training, and it is evident.
